Espressif Singapore is looking for interns to join us. This internship opportunity will provide Physical Layer RTL design, verification and testing experience in wireless system. As an intern you will be participate in designing well-integrated, reliable and energy-efficient wireless SoCs. 

 

Intern(s) would be working together with the R & D team in the following tasks:

  1. Contribute to research and development of chips with high level of Integration 
  2. RTL design for function block
  3. Unit test /integration test

 

Essential Requirements :

  1. Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, IC Design or equivalent
  2. Familiar with Verilog coding and/or UVM environment
  3. Experience in C/C++, Matlab, Python  
  4. Self-directed, motivated and demonstrated a curiosity in engineering with the ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt
  5. Availability to commit to an internship duration of at least 6 months.

End-to-end IoT System Development Intern

Candidates will get an opportunity to work in complete IoT system development including the device-side firmware development in an RTOS environment, phone apps and cloud backend development. These IoT systems will utilise Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE and optionally Thread connectivity. The work may also involve working with higher-level protocols such as Matter. 

Job responsibilities:

  1. Support design-in at key customers, developing customized software as per customer requirements
  2. Work closely with customers’ engineering teams to ensure that the customers can successfully go to production with Espressif solutions in timely manner
  3. Create technical solutions such as hardware and software demos and reference system designs
  4. Methodical and timely analysis and response to various customer issues and questions; interact with R&D as needed for the same
  5. Assimilate customer feedback and communicate with R&D for product improvement

 

Job Requirements

  1. The candidate should be well conversant with C (device firmware),  Golang (cloud backend) or Swift and Java (phone apps programming languages). Please note that knowing all languages is not mandatory but having knowledge of multiple of these, is a plus.
  2. Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  3. Good understanding of operating systems and networking
  4. Understanding hardware interfacing protocols (UART, SPI, I2C) is a plus
  5. Any previous work in the microcontroller environment is a plus
