A new book on the ESP8266 chip and applications written by Paolo Capobussi in Italian language is launched.

Espressif is pleased to introduce the first book about ESP8266 boards, edited in Italy by Sandit, a specialized editor in technical book. The title is "ESP8266 la scheda e le applicazioni" (The ESP8266 Board and Applications) by Paolo Capobussi, an expert science popularizer and scientific and technical journalist.

Here is the English abstract:

“This booklet talks about a small board in the value of a few Euros and exceptional ability. Equipped with a microcontroller, ESP8266, which is of only five square millimeters, can create remote control systems via Wi-Fi and Internet distributable networks everywhere. It is one of the most current systems and easy to use because you can program using the same development environment (IDE) Arduino / Genuine and with the same simplicity. It is the ideal board for size and speed of use to apply to 'Internet of Things (IoT) to talk to each other and with humans and all devices that surround us. The book allows you to build the hardware and software environment useful to start using the ESP8266 card in its simplest version, cheaper and smaller. Home automation and therefore control of home devices or remote devices will not remain a dream and will occur safely thanks to ESP8266 and clever use of wireless systems purchased in department stores. An original book and the whole project to be put into practice immediately.”

The book, edited in classic mode on paper, is sold in all specialized libraries in Italy and in a-commerce by Sandit website (and on Amazon in the next weeks).

Espressif is thankful for Paolo Capobussi’s contribution in the knowledge sharing of ESP8266 in the Italian developers’ community.
